Pre Tee Ball and Tee Ball
The MAA offers Baseball for players ages 4 & 5 that is specifically designed to provide a foundation and introduction to baseball and softball that is grounded in fun, fitness and fundamentals.  This division is generally made up of pre-K and kindergartners.  Coaches are on the field for constant instruction and to make the game fun for all. 
 
Farms  
Is a program intended for first graders.  At this level the basic skills of the game are still enforced with the addition of coach pitch games.  Coaches are still on the field to interact and encourage their players throughout games and practices.
 
Second Year Farms Player
This level is made up of second graders and the coaches continue to work on the fundamental skills of the game.  Coaches pitch for the first have of the season and the kids pitch for the second half of the season to begin the transition to Minors.
 
Minors
Third & fourth graders make up the minors level.  Coaches are now removed from the field and a traditional game is played with umpires and the players pitch.  
 
Majors 
This division is comprised of 5th, 6th and some 7th graders.  A traditional baseball game is played with umpires while players pitch.
 
Pony
This division is made up of 13-15 year olds.  The game is played on a 90 foot baseball diamond.
 
FAQ
When are practice held?
At any age group the practice scheduled is up to the coaches' discretion.  Beginning in March most practices are held indoors at the village hall gym or the high school gym.
 
When are games played?
Pre Tee-Tee-ball games are generally played early Saturday mornings with minimal weekday games schedule for late May or early June.
Farms 1 games  are generally played early Saturday mornings with minimal weekday games schedule for late May or early June.
Farms 2 games are generally played mid afternoon on Saturday and weekday games.  We do our very best to avoid communion dates.
Minors play games on Saturdays and mid week.
Majors play games on Saturdays and Tuesdays.
Pony games are played on the weekends.
 
Will baseball conflict with soccer.
We can't make any promises, but we do our very best to avoid schedule games during the same time as soccer.

Hurricanes Travel Program
The Mineola Hurricanes is a travel program for any player that participates in MAA baseball.  This is a tryout program that we offer if we have a coach that is interested in starting a team.
